Last night, 6 of our 7 players showed up at Richmond Yu Mao Badminton Centre. We all really enjoyed our Men’s double games. Almost everyone made one or two wonderful shots. But, the most wonderful one among them was my marvelous crossover net shot.
When my partner delivered a net shot from back boundary of our court, one of our opponents already stood in the front of the net and performed a very close net shot with light hit of the birdie. This net shot was so good that the shuttle touched the net as it fell down. Normally, at this situation, there's nothing you can do. But, there’s a slogan: impossible is nothing. Before the birdie touched the floor, I tried to deliver a crossover net shot with my back hand. At the moment, the marvelous thing happened. The birdie rose along the net of our side and followed with the birdie flew on the top of the net just as if a mouse ran on the top of the net. It kept touching the band of the net and ran one meter long with high speed of spin. Finally, it fell down to the side of our opponents. It made our opponent shout: “What an incredible shot!”
